ETIAS is a new framework for European travel, developed and coordinated by the European Union and the European Commission to increase the Union’s security capabilities against external threats, such as Illegal Migration, Epidemiological Outbreaks, and Organized Crime.
The nationals of 59 countries worldwide, including Canadian Citizens, will be eligible to apply for an ETIAS visa waiver, enabling you to visit all ETIAS countries multiple times over three years.
ETIAS application for Canadian citizens is a simple procedure, taking only 15 minutes. All you have to do is to complete the application form by providing your personal information and submitting it alongside your biometric passport.
Once you pay the application fee, the system will automatically check the legitimacy of your provided information and provide feedback. ETIAS will have about a 95% of approval rate.
Once you submit your application and pay the application fee, the system will automatically check the correctness of your information. If the system verifies the legitimacy of your information, you will get a digital travel permit within hours via E-mail.
If the system finds your application suspicious, you might be required to attend an online interview or provide additional documentation to support your application.
ETIAS Application for Canadian Citizens only requires you to complete the Application form, which will provide your personal, medical, travel, criminal, and employment history and Biometric Passport.
Please note that in some rare cases, you might be asked to submit additional documentation, such as round-trip plane tickets, accommodation confirmation, proof of sufficient funds for the trip, or travel insurance.
